Meet Our Doctors

Dr Sean Emmott (MB BS MRCGP)

"Born and raised in Addingham, I qualified from Nottingham Medical School in 1992 and then worked at Airedale, completing my general practice training there in 1996 (including a spell as a trainee at the Health Centre in 1994). I passed my MRCGP in 1996 and soon after became a partner in a general practice in Hull. I was very pleased to be given the opportunity to join the team in Cross Hills in April 2002. I enjoy the variety of problems general practice allows us to try and help with; my particular medical interests include medical education (I qualified as a trainer in 2003) and coronary heart disease. In my spare time I enjoy walking our Labrador and home computing. I am a lifelong Leeds United fan and have a season ticket at Elland Road, which can sometimes be enjoyable as well."

Dr Catherine Smith (MB ChB DFFP DCH)

My particular medical interests are child health, family planning and sexual health. I am married with two children, one dog and one horse. When not working I enjoy horse riding, mountain biking, hill walking and skiing.
